The Morikami celebrates Japan's rich history with aizome in Out of the Blue: Japanese Indigo Textiles. The new exhibit comprises samurai jackets, firemen's coats, kimonos, and more washed in the deep blue dye, a cultural practice that dates back to the sixth century.
